Set the background before converting a transparent PNG
Drop the PNG files and leave JPG selected. Choose a white, dark, or custom background to fill see-through areas. Match it to the page or document where the image will appear.
JPG uses lossy compression. Check small lettering and hard edges at the chosen quality. If the background needs to stay transparent, try WebP or keep the PNG.
